* leaving eggs unwashed is the only way to fly. Eggs naturally have what is called a "bloom" or "cuticle" topically on the shell. When one commences to wash the egg, the protective shield designed eggsclusively by Mother Nature is removed & all sorts of bacteria can invade the pores of the shell. We don't want any illicit bacteria invading the perfect privacy of our eggies.
